We are looking for full time landscapers and horticulturists to join our team! Ideal candidates are attentive to details, take pride in their work, and able to carry out strenuous tasks, as well as enjoy working outdoors with plants in any weather.
Crew positions entail lawn care as well as general garden maintenance, so familiarity with power tools is an asset. Experienced horticulturist positions require plant knowledge and if you have pruning experience too, even better!
Position requirements for Crew position:
A valid driver's license, clean driving record and experience driving trucks and towing trailers
Experience in garden maintenance or landscaping, tree planting or equivalent
Experience using power tools (hedger, line trimmer, mower, blower, saw)
Pruning experience would be an asset
Experience working in a team environment and with clients
Additional requirements for Horticulturist position:
A horticulture certificate or diploma
A minimum of 2 years experience in landscaping
These are full time, permanent positions (8 hours a day, Monday to Friday) at competitive wages, with benefits after a 3 month probationary period. Wage is dependent on experience and education in the field. Opportunities to continue to study and learn with apprentice sponsorship and professional development courses available.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Design Assistant to join our garden design team!
In this role, you will be participating in initial design consultation and working directly with Manon Tremblay in preparing CAD drawings to communicate design concepts to clients, and for tendering, construction and permit applications. Computer assisted drafting experience required!
The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about outdoor-living design, the juxtaposition of architecture and plants and plant-driven design. You follow trends, but recognize the value of classic, time-honoured landscape layout applications and the greats of horticulture and landscape influences both historic and current.
This position is contract-to-hire, leading to a full time position with a hybrid work week allowing time for personal development and family time.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Participating in initial design consultation
Preparation of CAD drawings to communicate design concept to clients, from base plan, GIS transference of measurements and existing grades - Masterplan and Planting Plans
Working directly with Creative Director
Assisting in preparation of finished design presentation and moodboards
Prepare and submit detailed construction drawings for tendering, construction and permit applications
Site surveying, elevations, and inventory
Working with contractors under Director during installation to ensure clear implementation and integrity of design is carried out
Qualifications:
Demonstrated agency & experience in residential design and construction
Working knowledge of DynaScape, Vectorworks, and/or CAD (Dynascape software, Sketchup Pro and Morpholio accounts all provided)
Sketch Up, 3D rendering, Morpholio or hand drawn perspective drawing skills are an asset
Confidence in creating detailed construction and concept drawings
Intermediate knowledge of planting composition & horticulture, zones 7-9
Ability to work within demanding timelines and keep detailed records of billable hours
Ability to work both as an individual and directly under supervision in a collaborative environment
Keen to co-create and stay engaged and curious, ask for support and be accountable
Effective oral communication skills both with coworkers and clients
Inclusive, positive key player in Critical Thinking scrums and collaborative work sprints
Alternate Computer and software licence required. If applicant does not carry own licensed software, we can of course discuss.
Education/Experience:
3+ years of field experience working as an on-site Horticulturist OR Landscape Designer with a focus on residential planting design;
A diploma or degree in Horticulture, Botany, Landscape Design or Landscape Architecture
Experience with design software: Dynascape and Sketchup Pro
Experience with GIS mapping and data integration
Site surveying, measurements and elevations experience
Wage is dependent on experience and education in the field. Competitive salary, benefits after 3 months, apprentice sponsorship and professional development available.
